Register Now for 2014 North American NGV Conference & Expo in Kansas City

If you haven’t done so, register now and book your room for the 2014 North American NGV Conference & Expo slated for the Kansas City (MO) Convention Center November 11th–14th. Following on last year’s successful event in Atlanta, at which more than 1,100 attended, this year’s event is expected to be even bigger. Expo floor commitments already exceed last year (approximately 90 percent of the show floor is sold – so don’t wait if you want space!), and we’ve assembled a great program including: 20 informative breakout sessions focused on practical tips and experiences; two engaging plenary sessions addressing key industry issues; a Ride-n-Drive; two tours; and plenty of great networking opportunities including receptions Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evening!

NGVAmerica is pleased to report that Congressman Lee Terry (R-02-NE) has agreed to welcome attendees, sharing his thoughts on the role of NGVs and the potential for meaningful legislation. Following will be Scott Reed and Peter Mirijanian, two well-known and experienced political advisors from opposite sides of the aisle, who will provide their post–election take on what to expect from Capitol Hill in the coming months and next two years. Kwik Trip Senior VP Steve Zietlow will be our luncheon keynote speaker on Wednesday, thanks to the generous sponsorship of Black Hills Energy. After lunch will be the presentation of the Annual NGV Achievement Awards, then attendees will have the choice of visiting over 100 exhibitors on the expo floor or attending two periods of breakout sessions. Wednesday evening is sure to be a blast when all are invited to “The Sky’s The Limit” reception atop of
the Crowne Plaza Hotel overlooking the Kansas City skyline, thanks to the sponsorship of Hexagon Lincoln.

Thursday is chock full starting out with continental breakfast and exclusive expo time in the morning. In addition to all the full conference registrants, the expo floor is open to fleets who can’t set aside the full three days but want to visit the expo floor and/or take a vehicle for a ride in the Ride-and-Drive we’ve set up outside the back of hall. We’re honored to have American Trucking Associations (ATA) Chief Economist and Senior VP Bob Costello join us in the expo floor Presentation Theater on Thursday November 13th at 12:30 p.m. Costello is a highly regarded expert on U.S. economic indicators and the relevance to the trucking sector.
His insightful columns and blogs are “must read” material for trucking fleet executives looking to stay on top of the latest economic news and how it might affect their business. That afternoon provides additional opportunities on the expo floor as well as another three periods of informative breakout sessions. After a busy day, Thursday is capped off with a wonderful reception at the Kauffman Center for Performing Arts—a grand and elegant facility where guest will enjoy great food, drink and entertainment.

After a networking continental breakfast, Friday’s plenary session addresses new, emerging and as yet fully tapped opportunities including a look at high-horsepower applications, renewable natural gas in transportation and the consumer market, followed by a closing roundtable panel of industry leaders discussing opportunities, challenges and the strategies and resources needed to address them all.

NGVAmerica has negotiated favorable room rates at four downtown hotels, all within a block or two of the Convention Center and we’ve set registrations fees to provide superior value to all attendees. Information about registration rates, lodging and everything else you’ll need to plan your trip to Kansas City are on the web site at: www.ngvamerica.org/conference/2014.
