This week, Greenkraft Inc. announced its CNG conversion system for GM’s 4.8L V8 engine has been certified by CARB. The 2012 dedicated fuel system is approved for vehicles with 14,000 GVRW and above. Greenkraft sales director Frank Ziegler noted the importance of attaining CARB certification. “Several states have either adopted or are in the process of adopting California’s Emissions standards,” said Ziegler. CARB states now include New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Maine, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, Vermont, New Mexico, Oregon, Washington, Maryland, and Florida.
